blue high octane

This is a High Octane as designed over at AX84 but with direct drive reverb, preamp line out and the choice of 6V6 or EL84 output tubes. The preamp is designed for a wide range of gain, very similar to the Marshall JCM800. A single-ended, EL84, 7W output stage makes for great Marshall-style tone without shattering windows. Sounds great through a 4x12 with Celestion G12H30, Vintage 30, G12T75 or Green backs. Blue tolex and Ampeg grill cloth were chosen by the customer. Great choice!!
